Jimmy Anderson (football Manager)
Jimmy Anderson was an English football manager for Tottenham Hotspur between 1955 and 1958. Career Jimmy Anderson had been a lifelong member of the ground staff at Tottenham Hotspur. He first joined the club in 1908 as a ground-staff boy, failed to make the grade as a player, then worked in various positions at the club, including as part of the training and coaching staff. At the age of 62 he took over as manager from Arthur Rowe, who had retired on 18 April 1955. Indeed, during the latter period of Rowe's reign he had been appointed as acting manager due to his predecessor's ill-health. After a poor season in 1955, Spurs finished second and then third in the Football League First Division in successive years. They also reached an FA Cup semi-final in 1956. James Anderson (25 December 1932 – November 2019) was a Scottish footballer who spent most of his playing career in England. Playing career Anderson played for Partick Avondale and then Portsmouth based RAOC Hilsea after joining the army. He went on to join Bristol Rovers in 1953, making his league debut the following year in a 5–3 defeat at Liverpool. After 24 league appearances, Anderson moved to Chester in the summer of 1957, playing regularly initially but then finding his opportunities limited after the arrivals of Bobby Hunt and Frank Clempson. Jimmy Anderson (born 1932), clan name Ahhajumba, is a Muscogee–American painter, musician and Christian preacher. He attended Haskell Institute and then studied art at Bacone College with painters Fred Beaver, Pablita Velarde, and Dick West. Anderson's paintings in the Oklahoma flatstyle movement were first exhibited in the 1950s. The Osceola Four Anderson formed the Osceola Four, a native singing quartet, while studying at Haskell, joining his brother Richard Anderson, Mitcheal Beaver, and J.B. Dreadfulwater. He toured with the group, singing pop songs and spirituals as an evangelical team. The group performed on Oklahoma television shows like the Sooner Shindig show, and they appeared on a Spike Jones Orchestra album as well. Jimmy Anderson (born 1 October 1942) was a British former boxer who was the first holder of the British junior lightweight title, holding it from February 1968 to January 1969, and again from February 1969 until the division was abolished in 1970 He died in January 2022. Jimmy D. "Jungle" Anderson (September 6, 1953 – December 5, 2008) was an American professional rodeo bullfighter. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Anderson originally raced horses until he grew past the size of the average jockey. He later became a bullfighter and barrelman and took part in his first rodeo in 1975. He took part in several events including the Canadian Finals Rodeo, National Finals Rodeo and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) World Finals. He retired after the 2001 PBR World Finals. James Drew Anderson (born January 22, 1976) is an American former professional baseball pitcher who pitched for five seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). Anderson made his MLB debut in 1999, appearing in 13 games for the Pirates. In 2000, Anderson pitched in 27 games (26 starts), compiling a record of 5-11 in 144 innings. In 2001, Anderson had career highs in wins (9), games started (34), innings pitched (206.1) and strikeouts (89). He finished 9-17 with a 5.10 ERA.
